#THEROADMAP : How To Earn a successful musical career (Essential Tips)
· Find a way to get people to love your music; We live in a time when a lot of people can make their own music. That doesn't mean, however, that your music has what it takes for record labels and producers to invest their money and time developing, promoting, and marketing that music.Your music must be significant, dynamic and much more creative. Try your music out on "music fans" in the same way you would solicit opinions from a Pro. You can do this by giving away samples of your music and putting some of your songs on the many internet websites that allow people to download and listen to it.
· Invest in your music; Music should be seen a business. Investing in better quality sounds and products is very important. Never expect to make money whiles building your career from start, put much resources into it instead. Always consider high quality first.
· Be Real and Original; Emulating skills and styles of another artist would not take you far. It’s best to create your own image by looking unique in the way you sing or rap and even how you dress. Always make sure your lyrics are real, talk about things really happening around you. Singing or rapping about something you know nothing about reduces your credibility.
· Make Your Music and Yourself Known to People; Try as much as possible to spend time promoting your music. Promote your best materials in order to save your image. Let your music reach a wide range of people by performing at different events. Performing live is way better than miming, it helps improve your stagecraft. Make use of social media to gain popularity. If you are upcoming, you don’t need to worry about getting paid for every performance, making yourself known is the most important thing.· Be Egotistic; Work harder to obtain an appreciable ego. You can do this by working hard on any activity you think can help you advance like education or being an entrepreneur. Make advancement a priority.
· Know your instruments inside-out; As a musician, knowing how to play at least one instrument can help you advance quicker irrespective of the genre of music you do. This will help you sing in different tones and enable you make better suggestions to the person producing your sound.
· Get familiar with Record labels; Know the record label you would like be in,before taking this step consider making your research about them first, know the kind of music they produce often.
· Know who you work with; Work with someone you can trust. Never move with people who can damage your image. Work with well-connected people.

#ThisIsHow: To wear make-up by Chloe Asaam [Fashion]
Find the perfect foundation and/ or concealer for your face, keeping in mind your skin tone. Because nothing yells "fake" more than wearing one that is not in your skin tone's range.
*Accentuate your features:
Focus on the best feature on your face.
You may have the whole package (eyes, eyebrows, cheeks and lips) but it is better you stick to one. Go for dramatic eyes or apply a colourful blush or wear a prominent lip colour/gloss.
I have been complemented in the past on my eyes. So now i tend to make it more noticeable by applying eye-liner(experimenting on different colours),wearing mascara and/or 'falsies' (lashes).
Anyone can work any eye shadow colour blush, lip gloss/stick as long as they have the confidence to back it up.
If you look good in your make-up,you will feel good and that is a confidence booster.
*Experiment
You will never be sure on colours that work on you till you try them.
Work with colours out of your comfort zone, colour block, try other shades go wild with it. You will be surprised with the discoveries you make.
